Y5/6 are learning about the Ancient Maya this half term.
Look what Harry B created at home, inspired by the topic!!
There are lots of ways to make a batik piece including using washable glue or using wax melted in batik pots then applied with something called tjanting tools.
Here is a simple way to create your own batik at home using wax crayons (as the resist) and thin paint to fill the cracks.
